During University, I studied the “concepts” death and dying, the psychology of grief and loss and the human capacity to understand life. Religious dogma, rites and ritual surrounding death, and the evolution of this throughout history, were areas of focus. I had previously experienced personal loss and wanted an outlet to express my thoughts about it, in an academic environment. Death. Death sucks. Not for the dead. Maybe it does but how can I know. For the living, it’s a kind of death. Pain. Sadness. Heartbreak. Worst still, life goes on.

I created this place to have a safe space to discuss the unmentionable. The circle, the Omega, Winter that is Coming. Biologically, a natural part of life. Everyone, yes you, me, everyone dies. And yet….. I wish you were still here.
